For this project, we reworked the water service entrance to the home. We installed new copper piping along with emergency shutoff valves serving the irrigation controls, pool filler, and water softener. The in-ground water piping was renovated, and all piping was properly insulated to improve durability and performance.

Water Heater Replacement in Tucson, AZ

This customer experienced two separate leaks in their home. The first issue was a twenty-year-old water heater that had begun leaking. We replaced it with a new forty-gallon natural gas Rheem water heater.

The second issue involved a mechanical float switch on an evaporative cooler that failed to shut off the water supply, resulting in a high water bill. After repairing the float switch and restoring proper operation, the customer was extremely satisfied with the results.

Plumbing Repairs in Rita Ranch, AZ

This customer had an unknown water leak between the meter and the home, along with substandard water pipe material. We installed a temporary above-ground water line to restore service. A few days later, we returned to install a new permanent water line underground, completed to all local code and legal specifications.

Laundry Control Box Renovation East Tucson, AZ

We renovated an existing laundry control box serving the washing machine. The drywall was opened to access the water distribution piping, and the existing steel box, heavily rusted due to long-term leaks, was removed.

A new laundry control box with EZ-turn emergency shutoff valves was installed, along with new water supply lines. The drain was snaked, all connections were leak-tested, and the drywall was restored to its original condition, ready for paint.

Water Meter Leak Repair in Tucson, AZ

The homeowner leaked upstream of their water meter in the ground. The leak was under the sidewalk on an existing PVC water line. The homeowner wanted the line replaced from the meter that was under the sidewalk and driveway (approximately 25 ft). We opened the cement sidewalk and driveway, installed a new emergency water shutoff, a 1" PEX pipe, and a water pressure control device to regulate the incoming water supply to a safe controlled level. Backfield trench, compacted and re-cemented driveway and walkway. Reset landscaping, water restored to the home.

Natural Gas Water Heater Installation in Tucson, AZ

Installed new Rheem 50 gallon natural gas water heater in mechanical room of home. Home has an indirect solar water heating system that works in conjunction with a traditional water heater. Existing gas water heater was in bad shape and certain devices found leaking on the tank. We installed a premium Rheem water heater, renovated the water piping at tank, new safe water temperature mixing device that regulates the amount of hot water going into home (safety device required with solar water heater), emergency water shutoff controls, high pressure expansion system, high pressure and temperature release system renovation, hot water instant delivery pump system, exhaust removal pipe at tank, upgraded scale removal system, and safety drain pan. Made necessary plumbing connections, hot water restored to home.decided to paint themselves.

Emergency Shutoff Valve Repair in Vail, AZ

Existing emergency water shutoff controls serving hot and cold water to washing machine were frozen, not allowing for water to be turned off at appliance, allowing for the exchange of appliances. Zing Plumbing opened drywall below laundry control box, renovated hot and cold water delivery pipes with new 1/4 turn water shutoff controls. Made necessary plumbing connections tested for function and leaks. Reset drywall that was removed for access. After the repair was completed, we rejuvenated drywall to original condition, matching texture, and the homeowners decided to paint themselves.

Ground Water Leak Repair in Vail, AZ

The homeowner had a ground leak at the water meter caused by a cracked PVC water delivery pipe. After reviewing the situation, we performed a temporary repair to restore water service, then replaced the water line from the meter to the home.

The original pipe material was brittle and prone to failure. We installed a flexible PEX water line with a new emergency shutoff valve and tracer wire for future locating. All fixtures were tested, the trench was backfilled, and landscaping was restored.

Main Water Line Renovation in Tucson, AZ

Drain Line Renovation in Tucson, AZ

Home owner was experiencing water on the floor after running a load of laundry. We investigated the situation, eventually opened the drywall behind washing machine, exposing the laundry drain line. Found that this pipe had separated from the cast iron, allowing for all of the water from the washer to discharge into the wall and onto the floor. Accessed the vertical waste stack by cutting an access through the kitchen cabinet, where the stove would hide the access location. Removed cement block around drain piping, cut out compromised piping and installed new ABS Pipe and fittings. New connection installed for laundry, kitchen drain line, and clean-out tee. Ran drain cleaning equipment through new clean-out, ensuring drain line is open and flowing. Made necessary plumbing connections, tested for function and leaks. Reset panel cut in cabinets, reset stove and washing machine. Client is happy.
